Sitelines recently completed the boundary survey and deed descriptions for the first property transfer in the redevelopment of Naval Air Station Brunswick (NASB). The approximately 990 acre parcel includes the twin 8,000 foot runways, taxi ways, hangers and tarmac areas that will become the BrunswickExecutiveAirport.
The Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA) is charged with developing the former air station property into a 3,300 acre business campus to be known as Brunswick Landing. This job creating engine will serve the mid-coast region and the State of Maine for decades. Sitelines has also been conducting surveying on the west side of the NASB property preparatory for transfer of hundreds of acres to FAA, BowdoinCollege and the Town of Brunswick. These public benefit conveyances are intended to serve the educational, conservation and recreational needs of the greater community.
